The Home Solutions Process

Our comprehensive approach ensures a seamless experience from start to finish. We begin with a thorough consultation to understand your needs and evaluate your space, followed by a detailed design phase where we craft a plan that maximizes accessibility and comfort. Using the highest quality materials and the latest installation techniques, our skilled professionals bring your vision to life while ensuring every detail meets our rigorous standards of excellence.

It all usually starts with a phone call or a contact form. After an initial conversation on the phone we'll arrange for Alan, our lead designer, to come and visit you in your home to discuss your specific needs, design preferences, and budget. This is free and there's no obligation to go ahead with any work.

During this process Alan will take some photos and measurements. He'll talk through you preferences, requirements and budgets and then go back to the office to work on a personalised bespoke solution for you. We produce a detailed 2D drawing and provide a quote with a full list of items and options.

Your Home Solutions quote includes all of your chosen features, fittings and fixtures and a full installation by our expert team. We aim to be completely transparent with our costings, so we will never surprise you with add-on costs.

A bathroom adaptation will typically take between 3 days and 3 weeks to complete depending on the scale and complexity. We'll keep you informed of your estimated project start date at the time of ordring, this tends to be around 6 weeks after you've given us the go-ahead. We require a deposit of 25% of the project value with your order, there's a further 50% due prior to us commencing on site and then the final 25% is due on completion of the project.

Each project has a main fitter who will be your point of contact throughout our time on site, although the office are ready to help and answer any questions if necessary. Most of the installation is conducted by our inhouse team who are fully vetted and hold relevant qualifications in their area of expertise.

We can usually arrange the installation of your bathroom within four to six weeks after your initial consultation. Complete installation of accessible bathrooms typically only takes our team three days. You may be without your existing shower or bath for a couple of days, but we will ensure you always have access to a working toilet.

One of Home Solutions aims is to minimise any disruption to your house whilst we're completing your project. This includes keeping your toilet in working order for as long as possible. We also do a tidy up at the end of every working day.

Part of the service that we provide is to make sure than all of your old bathroom equipment is removed, as is all rubble that may be created along the way. We are registered waste carriers and so will dispose of all materials in accordance with relevant waste disposal rules, ensuring we recycle as much as is possible.

Once you confirm that you are happy with everything, we’ll ask you to pay the balance for your installation. But our services do not end when our installation team says goodbye. When you choose Home Solutions to fit your new access bathroom, you benefit from our aftercare service.

We'll register all of your appliances for their warranties and leave you with a customer care pack including cleaning and maintenance directives. You can always call or email our expert team with any questions and we'll help as best we can.
